A) We see it as important and encourage everyone to take a lunch break away from the workplace if possible B) Some take lunch breaks but it is not possible for all employees C) What lunch break?
Question 6: ManagementHow confident are managers in dealing with employees who want to discuss work place anxiety or mental health issues?
A) Very well, all have had training and deal with such issues consistently and supportively B) Most managers would avoid the conversation and pass to HR or Occupational Health C) Not sure if our managers would recognise the signs or if employees would feel comfortable raising the issue
Question 7: ProvisionHow does your organisation allocate or intend to allocate resources to Health and Wellbeing?
A) They don’t. If we really wanted to do something it would be reviewed on a case by case basis B) If a business case was available and we could show a return, they would be keen to consider it C) We have dedicated resources and a budget which is allocated annually now we know it works
Question 8: ProvisionHow do you communicate educational material on health and wellbeing?
A) We distribute leaflets and have a health and wellbeing notice board B) Nothing yet, but we are committed to providing information and would like to educate and help our teams C) We have e-learning Health and Wellbeing modules available and regular newsletters and training
Question 9: ProvisionCan employees access any physical activity programmes to help them get more active?
A) No, we hope employees are motivated to do this themselves B) We offer subsidised gym membership but not sure of the uptake C) Yes, we have several options such as walking groups and lunchtime sessions to ensure there is something for everyone
Question 10: EvaluationDo you evaluate the success of your health and wellbeing programme and report at board level?
A) Yes, we complete regular reviews of our activity including the financial benefits B) We would like to but not really sure how to do this C) We get feedback from the staff but it doesn’t get reported on an organisational level
